Our sparkling Mutable Futures sculptures for H&M are on a brand new tour!
The modular sculptures were first created for H&M’s Barcelona flagship store in April 2023.Now, two large installations have been completed in H&M’s flagship stores in the Dubai Mall (UAE) and Kuwait City’s Avenues Mall (Kuwait) to celebrate the 2024 Ramadan period. A further set of simpler & smaller sized sculptures were also constructed for 8 other locations across the Middle East – including stores in Abu Dhabi (UAE), Riyadh & Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Doha (Qatar) and Cairo (Egypt). These mini sculptures were created from the same modular system as our large sculptures, and assembled in just a few steps by the visual merchandising team of each store.
With modularity and sustainability at its core, Mutable Futures was designed to be reused, and travel across H&M stores. They are made up from hundreds of vacuum-metallised reflective shards, and constructed with precision using laser-cut aluminium. The larger modules of the sculptures also feature programmable LED panels which can be easily updated in line with the colours of the latest collection, to compliment the garments on display.
